Itinerary
Day 01, Delhi to Leh
Arrive Leh and transfer to hotel. Full day rest acclimatizes, evening your Leisure. O/N in central heated Hotel.
Day02, Leh to Thiksey to Leh
Morning after breakfast drive visit thiksey monastery, Stkna monastery, and drive back to Leh enroute visit Shey Palace. Lunch at Hotel. After Lunch free at your Leisure. O/N in Hotel.
Day 03, Stok Festival (Monastic Festival - Mask Dance)
After Breakfast leave for Stok monastic Festival witness full day Monks and oracle mask dance Evening drive back to Leh. O/N in Hotel.
Day 04, Leh to Liker to Yangthang 4-5 hours
drive to Liker around 45 kms from Leh towards Srinagar. At Liker, before starting the trek, you can visit the monastery on top a hill upstream of the village. As you begin your trek you come across Yangthang and Sumdo villages crossing small passes called Phobe La (3550 meters) and Charatse La (3650 meters) evening visit village O/N in Home stay
Day 05, Yangthang to Hemis Shukpachan 2-3 hours
After the breakfast proceed for Hemis Shukpachan crossing Tsermangchan La (4000m). Arrive Home stay and rest of the day free to explore the village winter life. O/N in Home stay
Day 06, Hemis Shukpachan to Tengmosgang 4-5 hours
the day is a bit longer trek involving crossing of Maptek La (3750 meters), which has great views of surrounding valleys and mountains. Soon after the pass you get the sight of Ang village. From Ang the road leads down to the Tengmosgang village, which has ruins of historical fort and a small monastery enshrining the highly sacred marble statue of Avalokitesvara. Tengmosgang is big village in this area it has rich for Horticultural and agricultural, evening visit nunnery monastery, walk up to tseskarmo a small old monastery O/N in Homestay.
Day 07, Tengmosgang to Lamayuru to Leh
After having breakfast drive to visit Lamayuru monastery and return to Leh enrooted visit Rezong and Alchi monastery. O/N in Hotel.
Day 08, Matho Festival (Monastic Festival - Mask Dance)
After Breakfast leave to Matho monastic Festival, witness the famous oracle mask dance and the oracle delivering future prophecy to the people. Evening drive back to Leh. O/N in Hotel.
Day 09, Leh Walking tour and visit to Amchi
After Breakfast proceed for walking tour of Leh and after Lunch visit Amchi (Tibetan Buddhism Doctor). O/N in Hotel.
Day 10, Visit to see 9th - 10th century famous wall paintings
Morning drive to visit Spituk monastery Takungkwachy cave , inside the cave beautiful wall paintings abou 9-10th century, after visit pheyng Gon khang beautiful wall paintings Afternoon drive back to Leh. Lunch at Hotel. After Lunch free at your Leisure. O/N in Hotel.
Day 11, Leh to Delhi
Morning transfer to airport and fly back to Delhi. Arrive Delhi and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day free at your Leisure. O/N in Hotel.
Day 12, Delhi to Sightseeing
Full day sightseeing of Delhi includes a visit to Red Fort, Jama Masjid, India Gate, Humayaun Tomb and Kotub Minar. O/N in Hotel.
Day 13, Delhi
Transfer to Airport and fly back home.
